For You by Dani was created to support budding business owners to create bespoke and professional banding kits.
It has since evolved to also provide a commission based service for illustration for personal and commercial needs
My passion for digital art shines through in every piece I create.
How I create my pet portraits:
I like to use the animals exact features, or around as close as I can get them. So do this a roughly draw over the existing images to ensure I am capturing as many details of their faces as possible.
I then take my sketch to a painting app and use a watercolour effect brush to add details and colour.
After all this, I am then ready to frame it appropriately and send it off to the client.
The importance of being critial of your own work
Before sending an order I like to look at it with fresh eyes after a break. I noticed that in the original picture, Skye's eyes were too small and the shading around the eyes was well … non existent!
This needed to be fixed. I take pride in my products being send to a standard that I would want to receive myself.
